PROJECT FOR: Understanding Roman Numerals  I to X

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Match Sticks

2. Glue

3. Sketch pens or Glitter pens

4.    Scrap Book

METHOD: In your Scrap Book write numbers  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 under each other, neatly. Now,  write I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X in front of the number. For example 1 = I.  Then stick match sticks on the roman numbers with glue.

HINTS: Use your sketch pens or glitter pens to fill in the labels to make your project look more attractive.

PROJECT NO. 2

PROJECT FOR: Understanding an Abacus with Tens and Ones.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Colour paper
2. Sketch pens
3. Glue

4. Scissor

5.    Scrap Book

Any three: -

METHOD: Cut out round pieces of different colour paper like beads as shown in the diagram and paste it in your scrap book and label them as tens and ones. Do any three from Page no. 40 in your Mathematics text book.

HINTS:  Use your sketch pens to fill in the labels to make your project look more attractive.
