CHAPTER 13 - THE HOUSE OF SAND
Answer the following questions.
Q.1) Who made the house on the beach ?
Ans: Balu and Shekhar made the house on the beach.

Q.2) What was the first house made of ? What happened to it ?
Ans : The first house was made of sand and palm leaves; it must have been washed away by the waves of the sea.

Q.3) Who stayed behind and who went away?
Ans: Balu stayed behind while Shekhar went away to a school high up in the hills.

Q.4) Why did Balu leave school?
Ans: Balu left school because he had to work and support his education.

Q.5) Did Balu become rich ? Why not?
Ans : No,  Balu did not become rich as he could not complete his education.

Q.6) What did Shekhar do when he returned?
Ans: After Shekhar returned,  he met Balu and then he and Balu built a fine house on the saeshore

Ans: Yes , I have to a zoo. I saw many animals like giraffes, elephants, bears, chimpanzees and many more . There were many different kinds of birds too. There was a huge lion that roared loudly. I had fun at the zoo.

Ans: The little monkey ran towards the log. He jumped and danced on top of it. Then he pulled the wedge out of cut in the log. The cut snapped back with the monkey's tail caught in it.
